“ buy the angry burger, people! real nice family restaurant with great proportions, i got the omelette expecting just that but it came with some tater tots and buttered bread their menu is a lot bigger than you think, little bits and pieces of variety staff is real nice, theyre happy to have you here good selection for breakfast lunch and dinner ”
“ Seriously everything about this diner is great. There’s so much variety and home meals I don’t often see at tourist restaurants in NL. It felt like home, like walking into your mom’s kitchen and the lady running the restaurant was lightening fast and sweet as a peach. The food was delicious and very filling yet satisfying. Would absolutely recommend for anyone who wants the home NL experience or for locals who want some good grub :)) ”
“ This little unassuming place is a good place to stop for a bite to eat while seated and get on your way. That was our intention and they don’t try to be anything they’re not. They’re a simple “old school” diner with good simple solid dishes with burgers being what seems like their specialty. The atmosphere is casual and nice, like the people. We weren’t greeted by pretention or anything like that but served promptly. They have a juke box that still plays so if you’re interested, you can go up and pick a song for a quarter. My other half was over the moon happy when he could pick songs and play them during dinner. I got the boloney steak and he got the pork chop open face sandwich. I love boloney so was so happy when I was having my meal. Sure, cheap meat or not, it hit the spot! The garden/tossed salad (in addition to my boloney...) was one of the best done ones during our trip. Lots of other stuff in addition to lettuce! We also got onion rings served with a local favourite, honey! I would never have put the two together but what a great combo. Everywhere we’ve gone, the consensus is that Newfoundlanders/Labradorians do deep fried (especially potato) perfectly. I can’t say I’ve had a more consistent experience of the humble potato. The pork was over-cooked in our opinion but since there was gravy... it was easily overlooked. Would return here for lunch (or dinner). ”
“ It is good here. This is where I come to eat food when the food at school is not good. It tastes good. Also, there’s free wifi, so that’s a bonus! There’s also a jukebox and an arcade game. Here’s a picture of my fries. They taste good. 10/10, would eat again. (And I will!) ”

“ I have been all over the the Atlantic provinces this place hands down has the best chicken strips. The pan fried cod was amazing. This place is definitely a hidden gem, I can not recommend it enough. ”
